A Legacy of Sporting Achievement: George Mangos - UFC

School captain at Revesby Public School, George Mangos is now a mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter in the UFC.

He is ranked as one of the top featherweight fighters in Australia, New Zealand, and the Asia-Pacific region. George is known for his dedication, discipline, and perseverance, and is an inspiring example for current and future students.

Olympic Excellence

Lisa (Ilsa) and John Konrads are celebrated Australian former freestyle swimmers who rose to prominence during the 1950s and 1960s. Ilsa won a silver medal in the women's 4 × 100-metre freestyle relay at the 1960 Rome Olympic Games and set numerous world records throughout her career. Her brother, John, was one of Australia's greatest swimmers, winning gold in the 1500-metre freestyle and bronze medals in the 400-metre freestyle and 4 × 200-metre freestyle relay at the same Olympics. Together, the siblings became known as the "Konrads Kids" and remain an inspiring part of Australia's sporting history.
