Special Religious Education
NSW schools offer special religious education and special education in ethics. Approved providers deliver these, where available.
On enrolment parents/carers are asked to provide information regarding SRE for their child. Any adjustments to this preference can be made by contacting the school or through School Bytes. If you choose to adjust your child's SRE preference through School Bytes, please also inform the school so that the adjustment can be made in a timely manner.
Special Religious Education
At Revesby Public School, the students have the opportunity to attend a half hour Special Religious Education (SRE) class which is an integral part of the curriculum in government schools. Scripture is held each Friday: K-2 Scripture – 10.30am-11.00am and 3-6 Scripture – 11.30-12.00pm. We provide the following scripture classes: Combined Christian (which caters for all Christian churches other than Catholic), Catholic, Muslim, Orthodox and Sikh.
