Each year in Term 4, our school participates in the Department of Education's Swimming Scheme.
Here, students from Years 2 to 6 are offered swimming lessons held at the Revesby Leisure Centre everyday for 2 weeks. Each lesson lasts for one hour in duration. These lessons are provided for free by the Department of Education, however money needs to be paid for entry to the Leisure Centre. We walk to the pool as one group and our school's P&C have kindly provide the funds for the students to return to school by bus for the past few years.
Depending on the time allocated to our school for each year, the students spend the morning in regular classroom lessons, walk to the pool for their swimming lessons, then return to school to resume lessons.
