Our swimming scheme commences next Monday 22nd October and will continue each day for two weeks. Due to the unexpected and high interest in the swimming program, we have obtained an extra swimming session during the same two weeks.
There will be three different sessions that the children will attend at different times during the day:
- Years 2 and 3 students
- Years 4, 5 and 6 students
- Support unit students
Each child should bring with them to school each day an extra bag apart from their school bag containing:
- Swimming costume
- Towel
- SPF30+ Water-Resistant Broad Spectrum sun screen
- Extra plastic bag to put their wet swimming costume into
- Swimming goggles (optional)
- Umbrella (if it looks like rain)
- (If your child wears their swimming costume to school under their uniform, then they also will need to bring a dry pair of underwear to change into before returning to school)
- No floatation devices will need to be brought as everything needed will be provided
